Kensington Place Is At Your Service
Kensington Place announces the introduction of a new suite of services for its community members. The At Your Service program is designed to help people remain as independent as possible in the safety and comfort of their own home. All services are offered on an a la carte basis.
Sometimes, everyone needs a little bit of extra help. So, if a member of the Kensington community isn’t feeling well or simply doesn’t feel like doing their laundry, someone is there to help. Some of the services that Kensington Place staff members now provide include:
- Medication Reminder Service - A personal visit to ensure you take the right medications at the right time.
- Personal Laundry Service - Your laundry will be picked up, washed, folded and returned to you.
- Escort Service - Kensington Place staff helps you get to the dining room or other Kensington activities.
- Errand Service - A Kensington Place staff member can either take you to an off-campus appointment or shopping, or take your list and do your shopping or other errands for you.
- “Good Morning” Service - You will be greeted by a personal visit from a Kensington Place staff member to make sure you’re up and about and getting a good start to the day.
- “Good Evening” Service - You will end the day with a personal visit from a Kensington Place staff member to make sure you’re doing OK.
- Get Well Service - When returning from a hospital stay, or just not feeling well, a Kensington Place staff member can assist you with a combination of services, check-ins and special assistance throughout the day, such as meal delivery, medication reminders...
- Supportive Services - A Kensington Place staff member can assist with the following: bathing assistance, dressing and grooming assistance (not hands-on personal care), personal check-ins. If assistance with a pet is needed, we can also help with their needs.
If you think you would benefit from any of these services, or if you have any questions, please visit the Kensington Place concierge desk to schedule an appointment with our Resident Services Coordinator. |
